Main window closes with [session "automatically reconnect"] and ["keep Main window open"], why?

Thanks for the great program!
I have a question regarding why the Main window closes.
WinSCP, ver 5.22, Windows10 Pro OS
I have multiple sites saved. At least 2 sessions running. Remote targets have significant distance public IP connection routes. Session breaks/drops do occur occasionally.
I have Transfer, Endurance, Automatic reconnect; enabled (all 3 options)
I have Environment, Window, Miscellaneous; "keep main window open..." enabled

After some period of time, with machine running, WinSCP main window closes. Why?
What other options should I implement to keep main window open even if sessions stall/drop?
