Agree with Netspeedz. Most annoying to see tab already open when no connection has been made yet. Confusing! Is there a way to disable this on startup. Previous version did not have an open tab at startup.

It is not possible in WinSCP 6.
The closest option to that is a disconnected remote tab:

Remote Pane Display Content
In older versions of WinSCP, when disconnecting from a remote server, the right pane would display empty or blank. I personally liked that because it would automatically 'remind' me that I was not connected to any thing. Can't seem to find the setting to disable any file structure on the right pane when not connected to a server. Any assistance would be appreciated.
