Please start WinSCP with this command-line: 
winscp.exe /applog=c:\some\path\winscp.log

try the update check and post the logs here.

Certificate error

Hi! Installed the latest WinSCP version (6.3.2) from https://winscp.net/eng/download.php page.
I'm on Windows 10 Pro.

When I go to check for updates I get the following error –
Certificate not trusted.
Error: 800B0109 (A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider), Chain index: 0, Element index: -1
Server certificate verification failed: issuer is not trusted

Sounds very much like a similar issue addressed previously –
Issue 2212 – Updates check fail because winscp.net certificate cannot be validated

Please kindly advise.
