Can you please elaborate what "logs for failed file transfers" do you mean?
WinSCP does not have such log. It has a session log for debugging purposes and an XML log for structured reporting:

Changes to failure logs

Hi all,

We have been using WinSCP and had logs for failed file transfers, which last week stopped working and now show .png and .dll files from 2021. Our IT team have said they do not know why this change has happened and are unable to help, but it is likely due to an update from WinSCP. However, it seems last update was November so I don't think this is likely.

We don't know if a filter has changed, or a recent job-archive activity from our IT may have caused this. Any advice would be appreciated.
