Yes that's what I tried to use but it's not convenient at all, each time I need to edit the filter, press apply, check if the selection is good, reopen it each time...

That's why an option in the search feature to only show files that contain the filter would be perfect :)

That's nearly what I want, but to only show the folder/files that match theses search.

So If I got a list :

AABB
BBCC
AACC
BBCC
DDBB

And I search for "A", it would only show :

AABB
AACC

In the list.

Would incremental search help?

I migrated after using FileZilla for 6 years, and currently I struggle with the search feature.
In FileZilla, if you used Ctrl+F it was doing in live a filter with name containing what you are tipping.

For example if I Ctrl+F "test" it will only display all file containing "test".
When you got tons of file and want to only display some of them to do a bulk opening/search, it's way easier.

There is nearly the same feature with the search but too limited:

• Need to place * at the start and the end (like *test*)
  
• It's not live search
  
• If I want to clear/edit the search, I need to reopen it
  

For me that's the only drawback of WinSCP, for everything else I found a solution
