Thanks for your feedback.
Initial testing seems to confirm that it's fixed, or at least improved enough to where I can't notice delay in UI responsiveness. Thank you.
WinSCP version: 6.5.5 (not a new issue)
OS: Windows 11 Pro (10.0.26200 Build 26200)
Protocol: Local/SFTP
Scripting: None
Interface: Commander
I am using WinSCP to transfer files fom a virtual machine to a micro SD card, and my work involves repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting the device from the system. Whenever I connect (and sometimes when I disconnect) the SD card (done through a USB adapter), the WinSCP UI becomes completely unresponsive for more than 10 seconds until it updates the list of available drives. The issue occurs even if I am only tabbed into a local view and not connected to any remote. Is this expected behavior? It is quite disruptive to workflow to randomly wait more than a dozen seconds for a seemingly trivial moment.
I have not attached any log because I could not find any generated logs for local sessions. If this is a mistake on my part then I can try again.
