I am looking for a way to write a script that will get a file with todays date as part of the file name. The file name will be formated as follows: [some text].mm.dd.yyyy.[more text]

I would prefer it to retirieve the most recient date available, but suspect that would be more trouble than it is worth.

Any suggestions as to how to go about doing this?
