Re: Invalid Access to Memory
So done ;-)
Thanks. I'll contact you in few days.

I don't know whether this is related but I have local side (my PC) and remote side (Unix).
When I double-click on a .dbf file on the Linux side it appears to copy it over and open
Excel correctly but then I get a "file not found" error and a blank Excel worksheet. So
I may have 1 problem here or 2 separate problems.
Can you send me an email, so I can send you back a debug version of WinSCP to track the problem? Please include link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have sent the email. Thanks.
You will find my address (if you log in) in my forum profile.

I'm on Windows 7 and running 5.0.5 beta. I've receive the "Invalid access to memory" error daily since upgrading to version 5. The error primarily occurs when coming out of Sleep or Hibernation. Prior versions of WinSCP would just reconnect and be happy. This version throws the error message (three times) and exits.
I'd be willing to use the debug version to help isolate the problem.
Are you getting the error also with 5.0.5 beta?
ah that could very well be the problem, I get disconnected often from one server, and automatically reconnected, as I did in v4- but I didn't get the Invalid access to memory error with the earlier versions
I have 3 entries in JumpList and no master password. It starts and runs without problems.
I receive the "Invalid access to memory" error message after network disconnects (when returning from sleep, for example.)
I enabled logging level 2 and extracted below several lines around the moment when the error message is displayed

Exact same error, Win7 64bit.
However the WinSCP.ini file is not in the WinSCP program directory, and it did not turn up in a full system search.
