Yep, it's fixed. After writing this article I found it.

It seems to work without a hitch now!

Thanks for adding bugfixes to the program so quickly! :-)

I use this program a lot and was rather worried I'd have to end up switching to something else when I found my newly reinstalled windows wouldn't cooperate with it!

Here is the excerpt from the debug log... I was unable to reproduce any error except EACCESSVIOLATION for some reason. I tried several times, and got only EACCESSVIOLATION.

I found the link to test version, I used it and have NO problems now. Wow, you're good at debugging and issueing quick fixes. Thank you so much and I hope the debug info below helps.

Hopefully all new releases will have whatever codechange you made in winscpnoddrive.zip? Thanks a bunch

Getting EAccessViolation

I'm getting Eaccessviolation.

It happens right after I enter my session info and click connect, it says its normal stuff then right after "reading remote directory" i get the error.

(edit)I just tried again and I get "directory 'd:' doesn't exist" error -- this strikes me as odd because this is very similar to the problem the guy in this thread https://winscp.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1306 is having.

Very similar conditions as well. He reimaged his drive and somehow his primary drive is no longer C -- this is the same with me, I reinstalled windows and what should be my C drive shows up as G.

I am going to try and put a CD and see if i can get winscp to work like the poster in the similar article above did.. that way I can get these mission critical files off my linux server off, but it'd be GREAT martin, if you could get your test machine to have another letter than C. By the way martin, I'd like to thank you very much for writing this program, it is a VERY good and well-written program, and I find it as an invaluable tool. It's so much better than FTP and I've been using it for 2 years now.
