Error reading RemoteDriveView.Indent: Access violation at address 004674A8 in module 'WinSCP.exe'. Read of address 0000004C - Vcl::Imglist::TCustomImageList::HandleNeeded

An instance of WinSCP was connected over VPN to host. The VPN connection expired after several hours. When I revived the laptop from Sleep, the WinSCP had crashed. I closed the process.
Now, when I start a brand new WinSCP process instance, that crash occurs during startup. It's the first dialog seen, the crash occurs before the normal WinSCP dialog begins to be drawn.
I tried restarting WinSCP with the VPN connected and disconnected. The error occurs in both cases.

Starting WinSCP 5.14.4.RC on Windows 7 machine crashes with following errors.
No problem with WinSCP 5.13.7 (although that version does not install cleanly...)

Error reading RemoteDriveView.Indent: Access violation at address 013734EC in module 'WinSCP.exe'. Read of address 0000004C - Vcl::Imglist::TCustomImageList::HandleNeeded

Not sure what caused this. It may be related to two attempts to start the program, or it may be related to memory usage. I thought I had clicked the Taskbar icon to start the program but after a long delay wondered if the click registered or not, so I clicked again. Either two clicks caused it (if I actually clicked the first time; not sure) or it could be since the PC had been on for about a day, and some things have slowed down. After a reboot, I get faster usage. The memory hog is probably Firefox.

The program never got to the point where I select a profile; this in on the startup of the program only.

My first attempt to submit this error responded with the request:
Please select if you can or cannot reproduce the problem.

I didn't choose either because this is the first time it has happened, and I am in the middle of that initial submission, so I wouldn't know if I can recreate it or not. If you make a third option that I can select (first time this has happened), then I could have selected that and everything would have made sense. I will make a selection to get the submit to work but it is not a valid choice in this case.

It happens every time I open WinSCP for the first time. I get that error, then I close out the window and it does not happen again.

It is happens when click on the icon to start WinSCP for the first time a day. It take too long to start, then just throw this error. If I close the error pop-up and start again WinSCP is working without problem.

In Windows 7I simply tried to open WinScp and received this error.
