The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

Win SCP had been running for a while, connected to this Raspberry Pi.
From SSH I shut the Pi down, so WinSCP lost the connection. I cancelled the attempts at reconnect and left it sitting there Idle.
I rebuilt the memory card and powered the Pi back up again.
After it had its new IP address I connected to it via WinSCP.
I was prompted to accept the updated SSH key.
At this point I was given a default view of the Pi's root folder in the RH pane, but here's where it died. All attempts to interact with the folder structure failed.
Any chance something was cached from its previous incarnation?

I know how to reproduce the problem or the problem happens frequently enough. I wish to be contacted by the WinSCP team to help resolving the problem.

Logged in to Ubuntu 20.04 WSL instance using SFTP. Let WinSCP window sit idle. After approximately 15 minutes, noticed Memory Error popup dialog.
Was connected to same host via Remote Desktop and nothing interesting had changed when the Memory Error occurred (host was just sitting idle with Remote Desktop connected).

This SFTP-based Session was the only connected Session in the WinSCP process.

I had just connected to a site, and then clicked Help, because a little while earlier in the session I'd seen a Windows popup tell me a new version was available. The app went "not responding" almost immediately after I clicked Help.

Hi Martin.

This is another of those unknown ones. Is it relevant that the PC has been asleep overnight and I've just woken it? It was presenting the Login screen, I selected a new site to connect to, it connected OK, and then the popup appeared. At least this time it wasn't locked up totally, which it did in the previous report.
I'll keep an eye on it and if I can repro it (at a time I'm not just about to flee out the door for work) I'll be back in touch.
