Though note that by default WinSCP prefers SHA-2. So it is likely your server that does not support/prefer it.

Can you tell me if you have support for SHA-2? In our automated scripts, we see the following in our logs:

Doing Diffie-Hellman group exchange
Doing Diffie-Hellman key exchange with hash SHA-1

I may be missing the setting on how to change this, so any help would be beneficial!
