...is to set "Windows 7" in winecfg for WinSCP (or for all programs) – the text will appear. This bug is already in Wine Bugtracker:
WineHQ Bugzilla – Bug 54460 – WinSCP - rendering issue (missing text) on 'Windows 8.1' (and up)

To use WinSCP, you can try using PlayOnLinux and install it using older Wine version (Wine 4.8 worked OK)

In general this should be working in Wine. I haven't seen a report of such problem before. But I cannot help further. You better seek a help at Wine.

Hi,

I tried many WinSCP versions and Wine, and I have that problem, WinSCP has empty windows, no text. But the text/lines are there but invisible. Look on the left on the pictures.

Idea?
