Allow docking of bookmarks or view as tabs (lockable) above remote panel

I would like to have the same functionality when working with bookmarks/tabs as in Total Commander. It allows to have open tabs (for bookmarked directories) above each panel (herein local and remote) and to set them locked if needed. The great thing about this is you can navigate to these location with a single click of a mouse.

Or perhaps the bookmark dialog could be docked as a third (narrow and vertical) panel.
