Re: How to RESUME filetransfers?

Some more info: I want to FORCE resume, that's the important point. So if I downloaded a big logfile, that will be bigger next day, it should not start to download again next time. That way ftp works.

This also works with psftp (PuTTY commandline tool), it is the "reget" command.

"Resume on demand" would be a very useful, new feature, I hope Martin will have the time to implement this ;)

Thanks for your help!

Have a nice day!

How to RESUME filetransfers?

Hi,

can anybody tell me, how to make a filetransfer resume with winscp? I conect to the server vie sftp, but I see no way to resume a file. In options dialog resume is enabled. File is 17mb logfile. I f I want to copy that file to local hd, winscp does not offer any way of starting the transfer at the point, where it stopped last time. It always overwrites the old file.

Also it would be nice if someone could port a hint / link on how to configure a server for sftp to allow that resume feature.

Thanks!
