Connect WinSCP to MinIO help 2025

Hi, I'm try to connect WinSCP to MinIO but not work. I have set custom region I have change to path url but still not work.

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Hi, thx for the answer, my MiNio is deployed on the server with coolify under traefik proxy. Is it possible to exclude port from the URI request? Because traefik handle port automatically. Idk if is related.

Or what you suggest?

Can you connect to the server using any other S3 client? Can you post its log?

Thanks. Though, I was asking if "can connect to the [same] server using any other S3 client?" Not if you can connect with WinSCP to another S3 server.

I can connect to my s3 via n8n for automations or using minio console or minio cmd.

In n8n normally I need to remove the port from address, and force path.

Log from "minio cmd" – I assume it must be also be able to do logging, or isn't it?

I don't understand how is useful a log with witch info I don't have a log with connection info!? The issue is on WinSCP I say to you the possible solutions (remove the port from connection url). WinSCP don't reach the server.

I have no issue with n8n to connect to the server and they use path and not put or force port on the url.

If I try with 8080 port return
XMLparse error
PS: I have a reverse proxy (traefik) so we don't need to add the port if I add the port the server is unreachable.

Description: i see in the log some "cloudflare" so maybe i cant connect for this ?
