Re: Website not acessible from Turkey

Please anyone, who will come across this post and is from Turkey and has the same problem, get in contact with us. We can see, that there was a sudden decline of visits about a year ago (April 2023), part of the problem was mobile ISP's blocking CDN77 which we use. We have disabled CDN usage for Turkey and serve the content completely from our main server directly. But apparently there are more problems ;-(

Verify access over CloudFlare proxy

Can you please check your access over beta.winscp.net domain? It will not work for other links from the page, but we will be able see if proxying thru CloudFlare proxy helps in your case to make other adjustments.

Hello, I'm writing from Türkiye. When I remove https:// and use beta., I can access the homepage and the forum homepage, but when I try to log in by entering my username, I get an error like the ones shown in the screenshots below.

In the same way, I can access the download page by using beta., but the download does not start automatically on that page. When I click the Direct Download button, I get the same error. However, if I remove https:// from the link on the newly opened download page and replace it with beta., the file starts downloading.

To be able to write this message, I also had to access your website using a VPN. For your information.

Thanks for your test! This is expected behavior at this point. We would have to make a lot of changes to make it work completely (do not want to rely on Cloudflare) but we needed this test before.

You're welcome, I'm glad if I could help. Thank you for providing us with such a nice and high-quality program.
By the way, we can’t attach more than three files to the forum, so when I had four images, I had to upload them to an external source. In the future, the images might turn into frogs 🙂
