Disconnections after a short period of ACTIVITY

Hi,
There are quite a few posts about disconnections, but nothing I could pin down to the issue I'm having and certainly no solutions.
This is not an idle timeout issue. I can remain connected without any activity for a long time, but when I try to execute something like delete folder - something a bit more than just a single file, during that activity,I get disconnected after only maybe 20 seconds. As a result, I can never complete the activity as reconnecting seems to start the task again.
The only way I can use this is to break it down into really small chunks, which is unworkable.
I'd love to use it more, but I can't.
I appreciate all responses trying to help.

Re: Disconnections after a short period of ACTIVITY

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Also, do you have this problem with other clients using the same protocol? If not, can you post a log from the other client?
