Queue List - How long did successful transfers take?

When a file successfully completes a transfer (background transfer) it is removed/disappears from the queue list.

It would be nice if completed transfers left some kind of information in the queue list so you could see how long it took. The font color could be a lighter color (grey?) instead of black just to distinguish it from current transfers and waiting transfers.

It would also be nice if failed transfers left some kind of information in queue list as well. The font color could be red and italicized to distinguish it from current transfers and waiting transfers.

For example:

OPERATION  SOURCE     DESTINATION  TRANSFERED  TIME/SPEED        PROGRESS
Download   /test.txt  C:\test.txt  5,000 B     0:00:32@157B/s    Completed
Download   /more.txt  C:\more.txt  ---         ---               FAILED

Thanks for your post. This request has been added to tracker.

I believe that failed transfers are not removed unless you acknowledge the error, are they?

Yes, you are correct, failed transfers must be acknowledged first, so let me change my suggestion slightly...

I would like an option for failed transfers that does NOT require acknowledgement, but instead simply leaves the information in the queue list. This way, if I am transfering a large number of files unattended, if there is an error, it will continue with the other transfers without waiting for user input. You can then check the queue list to see if file transfers completed or failed.

Thanks

OK, but that's a huge change. I'll see if more people asks for this.

I can't see how I can keep the list of successful transfers

This post is marked as fixed in the tracker.

But when using WinSCP (version 5.7), once a file is transfered, it just disapears from the list of the queue...
Am I missing something?

Thanks,

You have to enable that.
There's a link to documentation in the tracker.
See Display completed transfer in queue for:

sorry to nerco but the time on a completed transfer disappears after the transfer is complete

Sorry to necro this old post but this feature isn't complete. Yes the transfer stays in the queue after it is complete however the time it took for that transfer disappears and so it isn't possible for someone who left a transfer running and came back to it later to know how long that transfer took. Please make it so the time does not disappear.

Reporting the issue from WinSCP v5.17.7 (Build 10640)

The time column shows the time remaining. If it stayed, it would always show "0:00".

feature request

Then may I please request a "Time Taken" column to show how long the transfer takes?

Thanks for your consideration!

Time Taken

Hey I think this is a really important feature and could i request for this too. I am comparing real world transfer speeds between 4g and 5g

Time Taken

I've just used the CLI and the scp command to achieve this but having it built into your software would be nice :)
