Connection to remote server fails

I'm trying to run a script to connect-transfer file(s) to a remote server (tried the same operation via GUI as well) and I get these error messages all the time:
Server refused our key.
Disconnected: No supported authentication methods available (server sent: public
key)
Authentication log (see session log for details):
Using username "clcillinois".
Server refused our key.

Authentication failed.

What am I missing??

We found it - it was miscommunication between me and the host.
The issue is resolved, please remove it from the forum thread since it does not have any valuable info.
