Out of memory

Issue : I was trying to open a zip file from winscp. But it got opened in notepad and got this error.

Hi, every time I open a file, something pops up that says Virtual memory full. Delete blah blah.... How do I find this virtual memory? Please help!!! Thanks!

Out of memory - System::NewUnicodeString

We have been looking at large text output files. We get warned for files bigger than 100 Mb, but are able to look at them, albiet slowly using your program.

However, now we want to look at a 227 mb file and this does generate an out of memory warning and crashes.

I hope that you can increase the total memory available so that we can look at large files.

We are using Windows 8.1 - 64 bit with plenty of memory.

Sorry, but we do not plan to support editing such huge files. Consider using an external editor for these.

Out of memory - System::NewUnicodeString

The file that I was trying to open is too large. I am OK with that. However I am not able to close neither the window nor WinSCP - it keeps giving me the error, with options OK, Help and Report. Nothing I do get's rid of this window. I have to hard reboot my pc.

Happens consistently when trying to open big file ~0.5 GB.
Taking > 1 GB memory and > 25% CPU
