Supprot for deep paths using FTP protocol in Windows

Hello,

WinSCP fails to synchronize FTP's remote directory with local directory when local path length is longer than 266
characters.

I cannot find any updates on this, bug is related to:

I haven't found bug report as well. This issue seriously impairs FTP functionality of WinSCP during FTP session.

I am kindly asking for clarification: will WinSCP Team plan to fix it?

WinSCP does not support long paths with FTP protocol yet.

In WinSCP's WebDAV implementation same bug appears.

Hello Martin. Any news on that? How much it would cost to fix it? Why it's so hard to implement if it works for SFTP?
