Polling a local folder to automatically Put a file to a Remote folder

I would like to set something up so that when a file appears in a specific (local) folder it is automatically sent to a remote server/folder.

I have a script that will do this manually... I am reluctant to just put this small script into the Task Scheduler set it to be run every 5 minutes or so.

I was hoping for some way to set this up as maybe a service?

Any ideas? Comments?
