WinSCP.com - Application Error: Memory could not be written

Hi,
We recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. When trying to step through the code I'm getting a popup WinSCP.com

Application Error:
The instruction at xxxx referenced memory at xxxx. The memory could not be written.

This is happening on the winscp.Start() line and the XML log is not being created either. This code previously worked on Windows 7. The permissions for the XML log directory and the compatibility settings on the WinSCP.exe file were all retained after the upgrade. Please offer any help that can uncover a solution.

I have sent you an email with a debug version of WinSCP to the address you have used to register on this forum.

I am trying to go back down to v5.11.2 but it is still producing the console log files. How to I discontinue these is it something in the registry?

You must have left a debug version of winscp.com behind.

I have the same issue on Windows 10.
When I double-click on WinSCP icon, the message 'memory could not be written' appears and WinSCP exits.
