How to get return value and process

I run my own server and created custom commands. This also works but I do not see the status in WinSCP. For example, if you download a data or upload it high then you can see the progress in an ad.
I have now created a command that uses unrar so very simple
unrar "!"
he also unpacks. However, you do not see a progress indicator. This remains empty and does not move. Every few seconds. then there is a timeout and WinSCP connects again. The file is however further unpacked on the server.
How do I get that the WinSCP shows me the progress of unrar?
The same with 7zip and unzip.
