How to archive and download a directory with exclusions?

Hi!
WinSCP provides me with a predefined command for archiving and downloading a whole directory.
What custom command would do the same plus the possibility to configure exclusions of files and subdirectories?

I assume you mean this extension:

We do not have a ready-made solution for what you ask for.

You will have to customize the commands in the extension.
See $archiveCommand variable.

Thank you for that hint.
It gave me the right direction.
Now I could create my own extension based on the one you gave me the link to.
My own extension now gives the opportunity to add excludes to the zip or tar command.
Works great!
