I am running a Windows 10 pro build 19045.2846 on a VMWare Workstation player version 16.2.5 build-20904516. On a Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS host machine. I left the computer running over the weekend, and logged out of the VPN service I was using to gain access to the remote machine I was Using WinSCP for. Maybe that is the reason for the memory access error.

Not sure what caused this. Had about 10 connections to same server. Had several files open in editor. The worst part is losing all of my new bookmarks when WinSCP crashed (this happens a lot). I really wish bookmarks would be saved immediately.

My internet connection was interrupted, resulting in session termination across the four or five sessions I had open. I canceled WinSCP's attempt to reconnect by clicking the 'X' of the connection status overlay. After my internet connection was restored, I tried opening a new session and got this error.
When I opened a new session from the WinSCP menu instead (Tabs > Sites > selected the site I wanted to connect to) the new session opened and connected successfully.
