After sleeping my computer and opening on a different network the application hangs. I am unable to close the server logfile that i opened with it's viewer.

That happened after trying to open relatively large log file, about 163 KB. The file opened, but at the same time I've got this notice. Couldn't do anything from this point. Had to close the programm by CTRL + ALT + DEL. After restart it is working again.

The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

When a session is closed (due to destination not reachable anymore) and I click in the reconnect dialog the close button, the error appears nearly every time. A new error pop up is appearing every second, only killing the WinSCP Process itself will stop this.

I have sent you an email with a debug version of WinSCP to the address you have used to register on this forum.

After several network outages during which WinSCP was waiting for me to enter the login data for the session refresh, I clicked Cancel on this dialog. The result was an endless amount of error reports popping up, all for the same error. Eventually the application was killed by Windows.

The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

WinSCP was connected to a Raspberry Pi that also had a VNC connection to it. VNC closed its window, probably a time-out while I was elsewhere. Error windows kept opening in large numbers until I killed the main process with Task Manager.

Happens since 5.13.3 update: After some time, when disconnected from Server, the window for re-enter password is showing up. If you click cancle this normally would cancle the connection and close winscp. With 5.13.3 its causing this error and generate continously an error window one after the other (forever!) until the task is killed manualy.

WinSCP lost connection when laptop went to sleep. Got the prompt to reconnect and clicked cancel, got 20 or 30 error dialogue boxes before it closed.
It doesn't happen often but it has happened several times in the past few weeks.

When I let the application timeout, then I hit 'logout' or 'quit' I can't exactly remember, it starts creating lots and lots of error screens, they just keep popping up. I have to go into the task manager to quit the program.

1. Connection is broken by server reboot.
2. Once the server comes back on line WinSCP auto connects and prompts for user name.

I know how to reproduce the problem or the problem happens frequently enough. I wish to be contacted by the WinSCP team to help resolving the problem.

The underlying SSH session had timed out (I was connecting with SFTP). I hit the red X on the dialog saying that "software caused connection abort" or similar and then got the Invalid access to memory dialog instantly afterwards. It seems to be repeated many times as the window shadow is almost solid black.

(000369CB) USER32.dll.DispatchMessageW

I know how to reproduce the problem or the problem happens frequently enough. I wish to be contacted by the WinSCP team to help resolving the problem.

Client was disconnected by server after idle time. Client invokes dialog with user name asking for the password. Pressing 'cancel' makes the issue and dialog bomb with the issue info.

WinSCP 5.13.4

Error message:
Invalid access to memory.
