I left a session open and the server closed the connection. WinSCP attempted to re-open the session, and prompted for credentials. I instead closed the credential request window. I think I clicked on the red X, but I may have pressed cancel.

ssh connection was lost due to server reboot, once selecting cancel on the credential pop up to reconnect winscp crashed. The invalid access to memory pop was shown in repeatedly no way to suppress this window via "OK" button. "report" resulted could be selected resulting in this report.

This was the first time I tried putting an sftp URL (sftp://10.50.64.195/var/SharedStorage/hc_reports/79ef2d5f-34b2-4a00-abbe-4b5df06086af.json) into my Chrome browser, after installing WinSCP.
The download worked (a simple 5KB text file), but a pop-up window reported the memory access error.

I clicked on an ftp link <ftp://ftp.zedz.net/incoming/NewsProxy_1.2.4.txt> in a Usenet message.
WinSCP opened and promoted for credentials.
I entered credentials for anonymous FTP.
WinSCP appeared to be accessing the server to download the file.
An error dialog appeared saying "Invalid access to memory".

If I click OK there is another dialog saying
"Can't get attributes of file '/incoming/NewsProxy_1.2.4.txt'."
"Could not retrieve file information"
"Could not get file size."
When I try to repeat, I only get this second dialog.

I'm trying to download a driver from HP's FTP site and since web browsers no longer support FTP, it prompts me to open with a program. So I clicked this one, and it prompted me for a login. Using blank creds didn't work, so I clicked the link again and typed in "anonymous" instead for the username. It didn't prompt for password this time but seemed like it connected then game this error, and now I'm reporting it.

This error popped up while configuring a connection over FTPS to a MyCloud NAS.
It happened after giving the password to login and the SSL fingerprint screen came up.
I needed to copy the Self Signed certificate fingerprint to the clipboard so I can use it on another device. I don't know if the time taken to do so, about 5 mins as I was configuring another access that needed the fingerprint.

I tried to download TRK 3.4 build 372 from OSU Open Source Labs -link. Appears it is an ftp type link which Opera browser cannot handle. Windows OS/shell to the rescue (heh). I chose WinSCP for handler and entered at first empty username, then "anonymous" and blank password. Crash.

Apparently the host did not have the file available as WinSCP said something to that effect after OK'ng the error dialog.

When I tried to open it it crashed. Looks like the folder no longer exists but winscp should notify the user of such event.
