editor with colored syntax

is there any possibility how to make the built-in editor show for example html syntax colored ? I know that I can use any other editor for this, but I always have to close it and then it will upload the file. In the built-in one, I just press Ctrl+S and it uploads the file. Starting homesite takes ca. 6s, and its a bit anoying to close it everytime, and then open it again.... any chance for colored syntax in builtin editor ?

I do not plan this. There are so many languages and scripts to highlight.

Also I suppose that there are other (smaller) editors in addition to homesite that supports highlighting.
