I received an error from a host when I tried to change to a directory. Clicked abort, then tried to reconnect. The error showed up immediately.

I have 4 sessions opened. I pressed backspace twice to go up two directories. I received a timer showing me that I have to wait. This time I pressed the OK button instead of Reconnect.

I tried, but it probably happens when my connection is slow.
Lately it is just doing fine.

After connection to server for changing the directory I pressed the `Backspace` key more times than depth of start subdirectory.

Was in the process of logging into an internal HPE SFTP site when the error generated. Had provided the logon credentials for the site and it crashed shortly thereafter before completing the logon process.

1. I'm using Windows 7 / 64 bit.
2. Connected to remote server: server is SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 SP3 (x86_64) (I configured this session to a pre-defined remote bookmark/path to use upon login)
3. Uploaded two text files (drag & drop).
4. Tried to switch to a different path by double clicking on path's field (within the remote server pane).
5. After inputting the new path and hitting enter, WinSCP reported this error (My session was terminated when this error popped out).
6. I logged back in to the same server, but couldn't reproduce this error after attempting the same actions as described earlier.

The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

I'm connecting to a server, and I have set the initial directory to be /home/jlopusza.
It is the very same directory that `pwd` in PuTTY windows shows to be my home directory, so I'm certian it is correct.
However for some reason when I set this directory as initial directory for the connection, or if I try to set it as current directory by double-clicking on path in the right panel of GUI, an error occurs.
Also, I can see behind the popup with the error message, that the content of the /home/jlopusza directory is listed, and it matches output of `ls -l ~/` from PuTTY terminal.

What I did:
1. Logged in to Linux machine, WinSCP showed the folder that I logged into last time.
2. Tried to change-dir to root (/) folder, WinSCP didn't follow, so I aborted, which closed the connection
3. Logged in again, which resulted in this error.
