Move file from remote folder to another remote folder in GUI - is a move executed behind the scenes?

Hello Martin,
when we use Shift+F6 in the GUI ("GUI-Move"), is a move command (or an equivalent) executed behind the scenes or a sequence of copy + delete or something non-atomar instead?

Technically, it depends on the server. But in 99% cases, it's atomic move operation.

From WinSCP perspective, the only difference is the S3 protocol, which does not support move/rename. There WinSCP does copy and delete.
