Need SSH Core PuTTY 0.76 (WinSCP 6; ASAP)

When will WinSCP 6.0 be released?
SSH core PuTTY 0.76 needed for firewall access (OPNsense 21.7.5).

PuTTY 0.76 works.

WinSCP 5.19.4 does not.
"Server refused our key."

We do not have any plans for WinSCP 6 release yet, sorry.

That's disappointing.

Is there anyway to get 5.19.4 to use the installed PuTTY 0.76?

Would be nice if WinSCP had provision for using an installed PuTTY version, like Git Extensions does.
By default it uses an included version: C:\Program Files (x86)\GitExtensions\PuTTY\...
But it can be easily changed in the SSH settings to use a different installed version.

That's not possible at all. WinSCP's use of SSH is way more complex than the PuTTY binary interface allows. It's incomparable to the trivial use of SSH in Git.

Anyway, we have decided to release WinSCP 5.20 with PuTTY 0.76 within few weeks.

Figured that would likely be the case re: Git SSH vs. WinSCP. But posed the question just in case.

WinSCP stopped working with public key connecting to one of my servers, some time in the last four days. PuTTY 0.76 and FileZilla do work. I generated a new key using the PuTTYgen defaults just to be sure. It also failed without Pageant. Thank you.
