Username & Pwd in clear

Dear All,

I'm sorry if this topic has been raised before. I start in scripting

I have a script running to do a transfer using WinSCP with SFTP to an external server.
My problem is that the script uses a clear user name and password in my script.
I would like to know please if there is a way to remove the identifiers in clear and have them replaced by another mechanism?
