Recent update no longer refreshes file on double click

I'm on version 5.19.6. This feature has worked previously. I've tried un/re-installing and un/re-checking "Automatically refresh directory after operation" box in the preferences. Previously, I could overwrite a remote file, double click it without refreshing, and have the latest file be the one that opens.

Has anyone else lost this feature? Thanks.

What protocol are you using?
If I understand correctly what you ask for, than it has actually only have been implemented for the upcoming version:
