Out of memory
I am synchronizing a remote SFTP directory with a local directory. The data size of the download is very large (40TB) and involves millions of files.
When I first synchronize, it takes almost 2 hours just to build a diff list between the 2 directories. WinSCP is running on a virtual machine with 8 GB RAM and memory usage rarely goes beyond 3 GB out of that 8 GB, but the crash has occurred a few times. Seems to be a an array index error or similar. I know how to reproduce the problem or the problem happens frequently enough. I wish to be contacted by the WinSCP team to help resolving the problem.
