Freezing when in mapped drive

I am on version 6.3.4 on a Windows 10 machine.

Whenever I have a mapped drive up in any window the program starts freezing. Once I exit the mapped drive and am only on a local drive the program goes back to normal.

Most of my mapped drives are to IBM iSeries IFS shares.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
