Default folders at logon

I have been enjoying the use of WinSCP... I've used FTP software for 20+ years and after changing to a new webserver for my dozen managed domains, I needed a new tool and WinSCP was recommended. I have found it very useful but I have not been able to figure out one simple technique. When I click to logon to one of my dozen domains, the process is fast and simple but it always seems to connect to the last subfolder I had open on my last connection to this domain. My previous FTP utility would always connect to a default folder both on my local machine and on the server. I much prefer this functionality over WinSCP's default procedure which always reconnects to the last folders I had open in my last session. I have looked in the options and am unable to see if/where I can choose the option to always connect to my preferred default folders. Is this possible? Thanks for any help provided.

The Directories Page (Advanced Site Settings dialog)

Thanks very much Martin. I had searched and searched for this option to no avail. I had already setup all my domains for logon so I was searched within the main program interface for the option to set a default directory logon. I continued to do this after reading your suggestion, but I still could not find the "Advanced Site Settings dialog" I was looking in Preferences and amongst all the buttons on the main interface once logged into a site and could not find it. Finally I used the forum search to look for "Advanced Site Settings" and found the item "Advanced Site Settings dialog :: WinSCP" and finally figured out this was located under the Edit/Advanced settings on the "The Directories Page (Advanced Site Settings dialog)" I did not think to edit a specific domain login using the "advanced button." I had thought as with my last FTP utility there was a default option available which would apply to ALL domains, and after that perhaps the opportunity to set the session options for each individual domain. But that does not appear to be the case. So then one by one is all 12 domains I have logons for, I followed the same procedure for each:
Edit > Advanced > Directories > uncheck "Remember last used directory" > OK > Save

I might suggest adding a global option for this in preferences as well, but glad to have the solution to this perplexing problem. thank you.
